Overland Park Court Services is licensed through the State of Kansas, Social and Rehabilitative Services, and Addiction and Prevention Services to provide alcohol and drug diagnosis/referral and Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP) services.
The program also is certified through the 10th Judicial District of Kansas, Johnson County, as an ADSAP provider with services to include assessments, supervision/monitoring, and education.
Court Services provides service in four areas:
- Substance Abuse Evaluations and Pre-Sentence Evaluations: Our evaluators hold both national and state level certifications and provide professional, thorough and cost effective evaluations used by courts and treatment agencies throughout Kansas. Evaluations are provided to the Court for sentencing, probation/diversion and treatment referral purposes.
- Personal History Form(.pdf file)

- Monitoring and Supervision: Provided by Probation Officers who are assigned
a caseload of individuals placed on diversion, probation or parole by the judge. Individuals who are
court-ordered to be supervised by a Probation Officer must report to the office and provide
proof of compliance with all of the conditions assigned by the judge.

Corp Locations
- Referral to Education/Treatment programs: Structured classes are provided in subject areas, including drug and alcohol abuse, tobacco use, anger control, and theft.
- Community Outreach: The majority of persons supervised by Court Services have come to the court system as a result of drug/alcohol related offenses. The staff is uniquely qualified to serve the community through projects that target the prevention of drug/alcohol abuse.
